As Muslims across the world observe fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, Malam Inuwa Foundation has commenced its annual Ramadan Feeding Programme. The Chairman, Alhaji Hussaini Baba noted that with the spirit of giving at its core mandate, the foundation provides iftar meals to thousands in Hadejia town, Jigawa State. Baba said beyond its spiritual significance, Ramadan serves as a reminder of the stark realities many face, thus free foods exemplify its essence – charity, empathy and community support. The foundation, according to the chairman, acknowledges the endeavours and provides ease to many during the sacred period through its everyday iftar feeding programme. “Throughout Ramadan, we will provide Iftar meals as a lifeline of hope and dignity to those facing adversity.
